Brandon Taylor

On August 29, 1998, Brandon Taylor was born to Melissa Sjodin at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. Brandon was the 2nd born of 3 siblings and the only boy. Brandon’s mother moved him and his older sister to Las Vegas in 1999. Brandon grew up in Las Vegas and attended EJ May Elementary, Lied Middle School, and graduated from Shadow Ridge High School.

Brandon enjoyed working security on the Las Vegas strip, and always had the best work stories. Brandon enjoyed camping, was a big dog lover and loved playing video games on his down time. He was very close to his family and enjoyed spending time with them and his friends.

He had the kindest heart, always helping his family and friends. Brandon was the kind of person to always fill someone else’s cup even if his was empty. He was the brightest light in our lives and will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind his mom, Melissa Sjodin, his sisters, Ariel and Christiana Taylor, his grandfather, John Taylor, his nieces, Abbie and Ava Ortiz, his brother-in-laws, Matt Diaz and Michael Mitchel, stepmom, Kristi Maughn, and many other friends and family.
