Cassandra Charlotte Wabara was born November 2, 1961, in New Jersey to Bruce K. Bundy Sr. and Celeste H. Justice. She relocated to Las Vegas, NV for her senior year of high school, graduating from Valley High School.

Cassandra attended University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 1987. While working as a Social Worker at Sunrise Hospital, she met Dr. Wari L. Wabara. They married shortly thereafter and welcomed two of the greatest joys in their lives, daughters Alexandrea (Lexi) and Ashley Wabara.

While raising her girls, Cassandra became a licensed real estate agent with Coldwell Banker and returned to UNLV, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Education with a Concentration in Mathematics in May 2000.

She began her career in education student teaching at Cashman Middle School. She taught math at the newly opened Marvin M. Sedway middle school for 4 years with Principal Evans Rutledge. With his encouragement, she furthered her education, graduating with a Masters in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2004. She retired from Sedway as a counselor in 2025, after diligently serving students and families for 24 years.

In retirement, she enjoyed gardening and maintaining her rose bushes, traveling to Hawaii with her best friend and cousin Angela Bundy, donating to local non-profits, and practicing Tai Chi at the YMCA.

She is survived by her daughters Dr. Alexandrea (Lexi) Wabara and Ashley Wabara, CPA, mother Celeste Justice, siblings Bruce Bundy Jr., Lori (Holmes) Redd, Eric Smith and Naikia Bundy, Aunts Marva Roseberry and Inez Wyche, nephews Marc Roseberry, Michael Roseberry, Chris Rivers, Jonathan Joshua, Jeremiah Joshua and Xavier Wabara, nieces Jazmin Bundy, Jinay Kline, Chez Shaw, JaKari Xavier, Jennifer Chukuka, Jessica Wabara, Yvonne Wabara and an abundance of deeply loved friends and family.
