Charees Lashan Macklin

Charees Lashan Macklin was born September 16, 1987. It is with heavy hearts we announce her transition into the eternal presence of God was on December 25,2025. God entrusted her to loving parents, Mavis Turner and Arlester Macklin. Charees Macklin was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada where she attended Western High School. While there, she joined the Western High School Cheerleading Squad along with several years of ROTC. Upon her graduation, she went on to work for Circus Circus Casino’s Adventuredome as a ride attendant and then wanted to further her education by undergoing a two-year nursing program.

Charees had many talents such as cooking and fashion. She also enjoyed music and living life to the fullest. She was baptized and started a relationship with God at an early age while attending Moments of Miracles and Vegas View Church of God in Christ. Charees was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who was known for her outgoing spirit. Her infectious laughter also brought joy to everyone who knew her. She was a shining light in the lives of many who experienced her generous heart and adventurous soul. Charees’ legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire the countless individuals she leaves behind.

Charees is survived by her loving parents Arlester Macklin and Mavis Turner; was a loving mother of four children: Kaylynn Taylor, Ka’maya Macklin, Jamarr Macklin, and Jamarcus Macklin; her one grandson Demill Macklin. Her siblings include Capricia Burill, Brittney Watson, and Jordan Raigoza. She also treasured and deeply loved a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will continue to cherish her memory.
