Chauncey Bernard Brown Jr, blessed the world with his presence March 7th 2011, to Shemika BenBrown and Chauncey Bernard Brown Sr. Chauncey was the third child with two older siblings Chamari Brown and Daniel Brown. Chauncey was the baby of his older sibling for 8 months before he became a big brother to his sister Khaliyah Brown. Chauncey was born in Chicago, Illinois. At the young age of 13, he believed in God and was taught about knowing God by his Mother and Father.
Chauncey was in 8th grade, but his football years started way earlier when he joined the flag football team in the 3rd Grade at Anne M Jeans elementary school in Willowbrook, IL; where he then fell in love with football. Chauncey continued to play football in 5th grade at Lowmen Elementary in Las Vegas, NV and when the season was done, he tried his hand in Basketball. Chauncey played basketball in the 5th grade but understood that wasn’t his passion, it was football.
Chauncey’s Mother and Father let Chauncey join his first league team, the Las Vegas Royals, where he was coached well by the coaching staff and mentored as well. Chauncey became what everyone knew he would and that was a great football player. Chauncey played for the Royals for 3 seasons before going to the Zulus where he showed his talent there before the season ended.
Chauncey was in the 8th grade at Carroll M Johnston where he was loved by the faculty and staff. Chauncey was a popular kid, he was known for his energy, big heart, his kind words, dance moves (because he loved to dance) and his smile.
Chauncey was and still is a son to Shemika BenBrown, and Chauncey Brown Sr. A loving and caring brother to his siblings Chamari, Daniel and Khaliyah. A Grandson to Juliette Jackson, Jackie Brown, Michael Mosby, and his late grandmother Bettinna Murphy. A great grandson to Lucy Delk, a wonderful nephew to a host of Aunties and Uncles who love him dearly, an amazing cousin and a great Friend.
Chauncey will be dearly missed but we want you to remember his smile, his laugh, his dancing, his time on the field and his touchdowns… His memory will forever live on through us!
