Darryl Lynn Bell

Darryl Lynn Bell passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on August 3, 1945, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Eddie Bell Sr. and Lucia (Lucille) Price Bell.

In 1953, at the age of eight, Darryl Lynn relocated with her family to Las Vegas, where she attended Kit Carson Elementary, Rancho High School, and she received her masters degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and taught school in the Clark County School District. Darryl was a lady of fashion; she was always as clean as the board of health. She loved modeling and was known for her class, style, and elegance. Darryl always carried herself with poise and grace and a smile on her face.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Alvin Lamont Walton and Terrell Wade of Las Vegas; her sister, Betty Jean Thornton of Baton Rouge; her granddaughters, Jerica Kinloch (Kindell) of Las Vegas, Olivia Wade of Texas and Omari Wade of Las Vegas; and her grandsons, Lamont Ali Walton and Justin Walton of Las Vegas. Six great-grandchildren, De'Ondre Mathews, Delasia Grider Kinloch, DayneMarie Kinloch, Kindell Kinloch, Jr., Jamir-Ali Kinloch, and Stuy-Taylor Kinloch.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Melanie Renee Walton; her parents, Eddie Bell Sr. and Lucia (Lucille) Price Bell; her sisters, Saundra Ann Bell and Karen Denise Bell; and her brothers, Eddie Bell Jr., Barnell Bell, Charles Douglas "Dougie" Bell, Michael Dewayne Bell, and Donald Ricky Bell.

This service is a testament to her impact on all of us. It is a gathering meticulously planned to reflect the joy and camaraderie that Darryl brought to those around her. It is a chance for all those who loved her to come together, share their memories of Darryl, and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman. Darryl Lynnís presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
