Elizabeth Grace Topps

Elizabeth Grace Topps was born to the union of Willie & Mattie Bell on December 17, 1959 in Gaston, North Carolina. 

Elizabeth was joined in holy matrimony to her lifelong love John Topps on January 20, 1976. To this union they were blessed with a daughter, Nicole Lee Topps, who preceded her in death in September 2013. 

 “Gracie”, as she was affectionately known, was raised in the Baptist faith and held a healthy belief in Jesus Christ. She loved reading her bible and studying the word of God.

Grace had several occupations but found her passion in Dentistry where she worked as a dental assistant for over 30 years before retiring. She loved her work and enjoyed putting smiles on the faces of her clients. 

At home Gracie loved to cook and entertain family. Her beautiful smile and warm personality made everyone feel welcome and you ate, even if you were not hungry. 

She passed peacefully from this world at home on the evening of June 24, 2024 after a brief illness. 

Gracie leaves a legacy of a life well lived, 64 years of caring, sharing and loving her family and friends.
