A Celebration of Life:

Ellen Gray, affectionately known as “Ree,” was born on November 30, 1954, in Readland, Arkansas, to Beatrice and Charlie Gray. She was the sixth of eight children. On October 29, 2026, Ree peacefully completed her earthly journey, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of laughter, love, and cherished memories.

A proud 1973 graduate of East High School in Eudora, Arkansas, Ree went on to earn her Associate Degree in Business. Following the birth of her firstborn son, Tyrrel, she relocated to Las Vegas in 1976 to build her career and provide a future for her family. In 1984, her family was complete with the arrival of her daughter, Tenesha Gray, who brought boundless joy into her world.

Ree’s deep faith was the cornerstone of her life. Upon settling in Las Vegas, she joined Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, where she served devotedly as an usher for many years, always keeping God at the center of her heart.

Ree dedicated 43 years of service to Circus Circus before her well-deserved retirement. She started her career in the housekeeping department and steadily advanced into leadership, ultimately serving as a Supervisor Inspector.

To know Ree was to love her. She possessed a vibrant, playful, and fun-loving personality that was entirely her own. Always ready for a good time, she found happiness in spending time with her family, playful teasing with her nieces and nephews, and dancing the night away. Ree had a unique gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories, bringing a good time to every room she walked into. While her infectious spirit will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now happily walking "the walk" in a better place.

Those Who Preceded Her in Death

Ree was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Charlie Gray; her grandbaby, Skylar Roland; her elder siblings, Amy Dell Brown, Horace Brown, and Carrie Brown; her youngest sister, Sallie Gray; her niece, Latasha Trusty; and her best friend, Dorthy Brown.

Those She Leaves to Cherish Her Memory

Ree leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Tyrrel and Tenesha Gray; her sisters, Charleen Taylor and Darlene Gray; her brother, Charlie Ray Gray (Annie Gray); her niece, Kotche Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
