Frank Applegate, Julia Kost, Kristen
And Morgan Applegate (cousins)
He had long-time relationships with his friends both in Las Vegas and New Jersey that lasted throughout his life!
Gregg worked for Kroeger Supermarkets as a Butcher for many years, and knew how to make friends in the workplace so much that he considered them family .
Gregg was smart , funny, sometimes sarcastic and a lot of fun! He always attended to the needs of the person he was talking to. He would always respond with positive annotations so that all friends, family, co workers , and acquaintances, felt heard, validated, and all-around better for having been in his presence. Sometimes his “raw” “off-color” “inappropriate” comments about a particular subject would have us laughing for days !
He was an avid pool player, and can kill a PS5 game or two. He’d kick anyones butt at karaoke, and Fantasy Football was not a challenge for Gregg .
Gregg knew how to make things work (with a fierce determination) with regards to attending to his health even while enduring serious disabilities after a debilitating diabetic coma and amputations. He was positive, happy, thriving, sober, and had a sense of humor throughout the whole incident and after especially when he was able to have his own residence with no assistance.
There will be a private memorial and celebration of life to honor Gregg with the utmost respect that he deserves.
