In Loving Memory of Jacob Herman

May 3, 1990 – July 16, 2025

Jacob Herman, age 35, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on July 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy filled with creativity, adventure, and a heart full of love.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Jacob attended Coronado High School, with the class of 2007. From a young age, he stood out—not just for his energy and laughter—but for his artistic soul. He had a deep love for drawing and street art, often finding beauty in the overlooked corners of the city. His art was bold and expressive, much like the way he lived.

Jacob is survived by his devoted parents, Lori Wallis-Herman and Donald Scott Herman, both of Las Vegas, and his loving sister, Krysta Herman, also of Las Vegas. He was a beloved son and brother, and the bond he shared with his family was full of humor, heart, and unconditional love.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Alysha Dawn Herman, his Grandparents, an Uncle, and Cousins—who now welcome him with open arms.

Jacob lived fast and loved fully. He found his greatest joy on a dirt bike, in the mountains snowboarding, or behind the DJ booth where he could bring people together through music. His spirit was electric. His laughter filled every room, and his hugs were the kind you didn’t forget.

He made strangers into friends and friends into family. Jacob was the kind of person who saw the world differently—and he made you see it differently too.

Though his time here was far too short, Jacob’s light continues to shine in the lives he touched. His memory will live on in the beats of music, in desert sunsets, in bold art, and in the hearts of all who loved him.

May we honor him by living with the same fire he carried—loud, fearless, and full of love.

A celebration of Jacob’s life will be on Friday August 15, 2025 at GMC Family Life Center- 2610 N. M.L.K. Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89032. Service scheduled between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
