In Loving Memory of Kashmir Louis Lamar Addison
On July 7, 2009, Kashmir Louis Lamar Addison was born in San Bernardino, California, to his loving parents, Crystal Plakio and Michael Addison Sr.
Kashmir spent his early years in San Bernardino, California, before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of six, where he resided. He leaves behind a loving family, including his siblings: his eldest brother, Michael DeAndre Addison Jr. (29); Passion Addison (27); Jeremiah Andre Addison (26); My’kaya Addison (23); My’ kera Addison (19); and La’raya Jackson (10). He also leaves behind his beloved aunts, Titwana, Adriana, and Terrell, his uncle, Eddie Lee. Jr.; and a host of cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kashmir had dreams of becoming an electrical engineer and a barber. He pursued his studies at Job Corps, where he demonstrated his many gifts and talents. Kashmir had a deep love for writing, music, and rap, using creativity as a way to express himself. He was outgoing, funny, and full of life, known for his creativity and his big, bright smile that could light up any room.
One of the most cherished memories we all share of Kashmir is from when he was younger. He would sweetly say, “Me want milk in the microwave,” a phrase that brought smiles and laughter to everyone around him. It is a memory we will forever hold close to our hearts.
On March 27, 2026, Kashmir was called home to be with the Lord. He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved grandparents, Geraldine Addison and Mary Ann Plakio, as well as his uncles, Robert Lee, cousin Makayla and uncle Fuzzy. He will always be remembered, greatly missed, and forever loved and cherished in our hearts. Although we are deeply saddened that his life was cut short so tragically, we find comfort in knowing that he is in God’s loving hands, surrounded by peace and care. We hold on to the hope that we will see him again one day.
