Lateef Antar Shareef Bell Sr

Lateef Antar Shareef Bell Sr. was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 30, 1982 to his parents LaNedra Randolph and Perry Bell Jr. Lateef was preceded in death by his grandmother Georgia Randolph, his grandfathers Ralph Weiss and Wavery Barden Sr. His Aunt Dobankia Weiss and Uncle Wavery Barden Jr. 

Lateef joined Salem Baptist Church of Chicago, were he accepted Christ and was baptized in Jesus name at the age of 12 years old. Lateef began his education in the private sector. He transition to Chicago Public Schools were he graduated from Gompers Elementary 1996 and attended Julian High School for two years before moving to Las Vegas and graduating from Mohave High School Class of 2000. Lateef continued his education by attending Vegas Community College. 

Lateef was a man’s man. He was honest and genuine. He was kind and sensitive yet strong. He had hope. Lateef loved people and people loved him. Lateef was a protector and a provider for his family. His love was expressed with actions and words. Lateef possessed wisdom that wasn’t common for a person his age. Lateef enjoyed fishing, watching sports and spending time with his family. 

Lateef would sacrifice himself for those he loved. He helped people in ways that aren’t common. He was a person of integrity and hard working. He worked in customer service for most of his career for institutions like Capital One, Farmers Insurance and many others. 

Lateef leaves to cherish his memory: Kylah his wife, two sons Lateef Jr. and Jahmeer Bell. His parents LaNedra (Kennedy) Mitchell, Perry (Denise) Bell Jr.His siblings Taconna Jackson, Joyce Sarah (Alfred) Hatcher, Sherry Bell, and Javon Tucker, his grandmother Barbara Weiss. A host of Aunts, Uncles, a niece, nephews, cousins and friends. Lateef was loved by many and will forever be cherished in our hearts
