Linda Kelly Jackson

April 20, 1957 — February 17, 2022

"Linda Kelly Jackson was born on April 20th, 1957 in Los Angeles, California. She was the middle child of 10, born to parents Ruby Jean Henry and Herbert Jackson. From an early age, Linda was a very self-less person. She always enjoyed taking care of home, and people. And what she enjoyed most throughout her life, was cooking. Her passion for taking care of people led her to spending most of her young adult life working as a Childcare Provider, and she spent her later years in life simply being a homemaker.

At the age of 19, Linda met a man who she spent 18 years with, and together they had 2 children: Markiss McFadden and Markela McFadden. In 1999, Linda and her 2 kids relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, and began a new life in a new, loving, happy home. Throughout life, Linda always had a strong faith and connection with God, and in 2012 Linda was baptized at Central Christian Church.

Linda lived with The Fruit of the Spirit; she was filled with kindness, generosity, joy, faithfulness, gentleness, patience and a peace that surpasses all understanding. Linda was a very giving person, whether it would be her time, talents, or treasures, she was always giving to someone or something in need, with no hesitation, and with a smile on her face that would light up any room. Linda gave her everything to her 2 children and 4 grandchildren, who were her entire world.

In 2005, Linda began her journey battling several different health diagnoses. She was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, and had a defibrillator implanted into her chest. She was diagnosed with Kidney Failure, and became a dialysis patient for over 10 years. And most recently, she was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis, and multiple stomach ulcers, which led to internal bleeding. Through all of these struggles, Linda never lost her faith and she continued to live with purpose, until God called her home on February 17th, 2022. Linda’s legacy, and what she is most proud of, is her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Herbert, and her siblings Evette, Metty, Jewel, and Jerry. She is survived by her 2 kids, Markiss and Markela, 4 grandkids, Arianna, Madison, Lyric, and Jackson, and a host of family and friends who will miss her tremendously. Linda was a cherished soul here on earth and will be forever loved and greatly missed.
