In Loving Memory of Matthew Ian Lowe

Heaven Gained a Legend

On April 3rd, 2025, Matt left this world the way he lived in it—suddenly, boldly, and without asking for directions. With a heart that gave out far too soon, he traded in his earthly ride for a heavenly one, undoubtedly a chrome-plated Harley with angel wings and a celestial parking pass.

Matt was a man of many passions: Jesus, motorcycles, music, travel, family, and—yes—the New England Patriots. Whether he was worshipping in church, roaring down the highway, or screaming at the TV on game day (“Come on, Belichick!”), Matt did it all with soul, grit, and a gleam in his eye.

He sang like no one was listening (even when we were), laughed loudly, and loved deeply. His family was his heart, even if he sometimes covered it up with leather jackets and Patriots hoodies. Road trips were sacred, whether to a distant state or just down the road for a coffee and conversation. If you rode with Matt, you knew you were in for a journey—one that always came with a story and maybe a detour or two.

Matt never met a stranger and never passed up an opportunity to make someone feel at home. His faith in Christ was strong, and we take comfort knowing he’s now singing with his mom, probably leading the heavenly choir—assuming they can keep up.

He leaves behind a legacy of loud engines, louder laughter, strong hugs, deep faith, and more than a few half-finished travel plans. We’ll carry his memory with us like a favorite song on repeat—timeless, beloved, and impossible to forget.

So, ride on, Matt. Keep the throttle open and the music loud. Save us a seat by the campfire—preferably on a cloud with a good view of the next Pats game.

The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers. There are no plans for a celebration of life at this time.
