Michael Angelo McBride Sr. passed away at 76 surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of service, laughter, and deep devotion to his family. He is survived by his loving wife Wendy McBride, with whom he shared a life rooted in commitment, partnership, and family. Together, they built a home filled with love, support, laughter, and togetherness.
Michael was a proud father of four children: Jamellia McBride of Las Vegas, NV; Rochelle McBride; Lamar McBride; and Michael McBride Jr. of Minneapolis, MN. He was a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Thomas McBride (Joslyn) of Cape Coral, FL and Mark McBride (Tamika) of Davie, FL, who he shared in a lifetime of memories, family bonds, and love.
Michael honorably served 26 years in the United States Air Force, retiring at the distinguished rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). His career was marked by dedication, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to those he served alongside. He carried that same sense of responsibility and integrity into every part of his life.
Outside of uniform, Michael was known for his love of travel, his legendary BBQ skills, and his ability to tell a good joke at just the right moment. He had a generous spirit, always ready to give, help, or simply show up for the people he cared about.
Above all else, Michael loved his family fiercely. He was a steady presence, a storyteller, a mentor, and a source of strength. His impact will be felt for generations, not only through his service, but through the love, values, and memories he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
