Michale Jermaine Randolph

December 17, 1971 — March 20, 2023

Michale Jermaine Randolph was born December 17,1971 to Jan Davis Randolph and James Edward Randolph in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was always a quiet and inquisitive child. He often stayed up into the late hours playing video games like Mario Bros. and Pac-Man. He learned to count by playing cards. His love for the outdoors always played second to clean clothes. Michale didn’t talk until he was 2 years old.  After that skill was mastered, he wouldn’t stop talking.

He received his formal education in the Clark County School District. He graduated from Southern Nevada Vocational Technical School earning a diploma and a vocational certificate. He later earned an Associates of Arts degree from CSN. Michale’s first job was a busboy at the Tropicana Hotel.  Michale was a personable person that easily made friends. He later worked at various jobs in the hospitality field.

Michale married Susan Cox and in that union two daughters were born: Ashlei Racquel and Alyssa Michelle.  He took his father duties very seriously and raised his daughters in a strict upbringing.

Life brought many challenges to Michale. He was declared legally blind as a young adult. He found sobriety and lifelong friends through AA. He was very proud to let anyone know the number of years of being clean. He was an inspiration to those he came in contact with. Attending AA meetings became his new calling.  He was known as “Blind Mike'' to all his AA family. He flourished as an AA sponsor by spending countless hours, counseling, coaching, and “keeping it real” with his AA family. Mike finally fulfilled his dream and graduated from UNLV earning a B.S. in Social Work, December 2022.

Michale made his earthly transition in the early hours on March 20, 2023.

He leaves to cherish his memories, daughters: Ashlei Bivens and Alyssa Randolph, grandchildren: Kai, Eli, Aaron, and Reggie, mother, Jan, brother Erinn Davis Sr., sister, Edris Jordan, brother-in-law, Eric Jordan, a special nephew, Erinn Davis II, special friends: Becky, Ashley, Dana, and Mindy and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michale was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Frank Davis, Sophronia Simpson, and Lester Simpson Sr.
