Osakhodaromen Enofe Omwanor, affectionately known as Daro, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Randolph, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on January 10, 2026, at the age of 35. Born on November 1, 1990, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, Daro lived a life defined by love, generosity, creativity, and an extraordinary ability to connect with others. His passing leaves an immeasurable void, but his light and impact will live on through the many lives he touched.
Daro was a devoted and loving father to his daughter, Solara, who was truly his sunshine and greatest joy. Everything he did was infused with love for her, and she remains a beautiful reflection of his warmth, curiosity, and bright spirit. He was the cherished son of Sylvester Omwanor and Caroline Oriji of Randolph. He grew up surrounded by family, laughter, and strong bonds, alongside his brother Idahosa Omwanor of Randolph; his sisters Osahon Omwanor of Fall River, and Ese Omordia of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
Daro was eagerly looking forward to marrying his fiancé, Taylor Baxter of Las Vegas, Nevada, this summer. Their love was rooted in deep connection, shared dreams, and mutual joy, and their partnership meant the world to him. A man of deep intelligence and boundless ambition, Daro earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and went on to build a successful career as a software engineer. A constant creator, he was always building, whether it was the idea of a new business or developing a new app, his ideas were endless. He loved teaching others, sharing knowledge freely, and helping those around him grow.
Daro embraced life fully. He loved traveling and hiking, road biking long distances, playing video games, and exploring new experiences with childlike wonder. He had a deep love for animals, especially his dogs CJ, Belma, and Elsa, who were constant companions and part of his family. Known for his green thumb, Daro filled his home with plants, nurturing life wherever he was. He also loved cooking for those he cared about, expressing his love through meals, and would give his very last to anyone in need. More than anything, Daro was a friend to all. One interaction with him was often enough to make a friend for life. His impact was that powerful. His kindness was effortless, his generosity limitless, and his presence unforgettable.
As we mourn the loss of Osakhodaromen Enofe Omwanor, we also celebrate a life that was rich with purpose, love, and meaning. Though his time was far too short, Daro’s legacy lives on through Solara, his family, his friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
