Prentis Dewayne Buford

Prentis D. Buford was born to Eddie Ruth & Robert H. Buford on November 3rd, 1962 in Pasco, Washington. He’s the 5th of 6 children. Prentis was preceded in death by his parents Eddie R. and Robert H. Buford, and one sister Doris Millner. Prentis moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1964 from Washington at the age of 2. He attended Jo Mackey Elementary School, C. W. Woodbury Junior High , and graduated from Chaparral High School in 1980.

He began his working journey beginning with Landmark Hotel, Circus Circus Hotel, ending with Jensen Contrast. Prentis loved bowling (Left Hand Bandit), along with talking a grip of mess while playing dominoes with his nephews. Prentis loved music, family, & barbecuing. He truly thought he was the best griller, next to coach.

Prentis leaves his loving legacy to his son & daughter Prentis Jr. (Tia), and Candice Buford, both of Las Vegas, NV. 2 granddaughters whom he absolutely adored; ZaNiya & Na’Kiya Buford. 2 brothers Jimmy Brimmer (Holly), Louis Buford (Mary), 2 sisters Treophia Smith & Neva Buford. 3 Nephews Jimmy Brimmer Jr. (Stacy), Jamaal Brimmer (Caitlyn), Devin Buford (Jasmine). 2 Nieces Fontay Brimmer-Jones (Christian) & Jameta Brimmer (LaShawn). His Aunt Elvessie Curry of Mississippi. His Uncle James Sheppard of Arkansas. His Best Friend Randy Jackson. 2 special bonus sisters Jonetta Parker & Regina Williams, as well as a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and friends. all of whom loved him dearly.
