Ricky Dwight Winbush Sr. was born on December 28, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to the late Doris Lee White, who preceded him in death.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Lakeisha N. Winbush, stepfather, Larry White Sr.; his children, Ricky Winbush Jr., and Dorsetta (Sparky)Winbush, ; his grandchildren, Nya Winbush, Kamya Winbush-Kline, Kiara Winbush-Kline, and Kh’mari Kline; and brother Larry White Jr., along with a host of family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Ricky was a proud graduate of Clark High School, Class of 1982. Following high school, he worked at the California Hotel before answering the call to serve in the United States Navy. After completing his military service, Ricky returned home and began building his career with Silver State, later continuing his career with Teamsters Local 631.

Ricky was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and took great pride in the things he enjoyed. He loved attending live band performances and comedy shows, cooking, eating good food, and, most of all, spending quality time with his family and friends. He had a personality and presence that could light up a room, and his laughter, stories, and unique spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Ricky was a well-known and beloved member of the Westside community. His face, his presence, and the memories he created with so many will be deeply missed.

Though he may no longer walk among us, his memory will live on through the family, friends, and community he touched. His legacy will never be forgotten.
