Teresa Ann Clay

Apr 12, 1963 — Jun 8, 2026

Teresa Ann Clay was the second child born to the union of Curtis Williams and Vernell Finley on April 12, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada. From an early age, Teresa was adventurous, protective, and possessed a sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around her.

Teresa completed her formal education at Rancho High School, where she was known for her keen sense of style and love of fashion. Her passion for fashion inspired her to pursue modeling and enroll in classes at Barbizon Modeling & Acting School. She later completed dealer's school. Through this experience, she developed the confidence, charisma, and engaging personality that later contributed to her successful career as a blackjack dealer for more than 30 years.

Teresa met her husband, Robert Clay, while they were both employed at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino. The couple married on April 10, 1994. Together, they built a loving and harmonious blended family that became the center of Teresa’s life.

In June 2019, Teresa joined New Creation Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Durand Simpson. She faithfully embraced her spiritual journey and was later baptized in May 2020, an experience that deepened her faith and strengthened her relationship with God.

Teresa shared a very special bond with her mother. The two were affectionately known as each other’s “road dogs” and could often be found hanging out together or just sitting around the kitchen table sharing jokes and laughter.

Teresa was big on attending celebrations and loved to dress up and go out to various social events with her sister and very close friends.

Above all, Teresa was a devoted mother and grandmother. She lovingly raised not only her own children but also many of her grandchildren, surrounding them with patience, compassion, laughter, guidance, support, and unconditional love.

Teresa was affectionately known as the rich, funny, beautiful, and loving auntie who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Generous to her core, she was always willing to support family, friends, and even strangers without expecting anything in return. Her kindness, warmth, and giving spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Teresa will be forever remembered for her unwavering love, infectious humor, fierce protectiveness, and deep devotion to her family and friends. Her presence enriched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will continue to bring comfort, smiles, and inspiration to those she leaves behind.
