Thejuania Payne

She attended Hyde Park Junior High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Where she played Volleyball and ran Track.  She continued the love for the game later at Western High where she took the sports to the next level.  She graduated from Western High School in 1986.  Some of her favorite activities were throwing parties for her nieces and nephews.  Her passion was cooking, and she was very good at it. The greatest sunshine in her life was her son Darren who she affectionately called DJ. 

She was employed by the Clark County School District as a Campus Monitor. She held that position for 20 years.  The staff and students loved her, she loved them too.  Students affectionately called her TJ.  She took her position very seriously and quickly responded to calls.  Making sure her students were safe.

The angel came to take Thejuania home on Monday, August 7, 2023.  She leaves to cherish her memory: one son Darren Debose she affectionately called DJ; mother, Marie Payne; sisters; Irma Jean (Arnold) Williams, Ella D. Calhoun, and Mildred A. Payne; brothers, Charles R. Williams, Michael A. Williams, and Arthur Jerome Payne, who proceeded her in death and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
