Alptamise Lynnette Hailey was born January 22, 1973, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Mary Ellen (Terry) and Michael G. Hailey. She was their first child. Her father, Michael joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. They ultimately settled in the Las Vegas Valley.
